City announces community garden opportunities

According to a Facebook post, the city of Susanville is launching the city’s community garden season from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 19 at the community garden, 105 S. Ash St.

Did you know the city of Susanville has a Community Garden — a place where city residents can grow their own food?

Did you know you can reserve your plot at no cost?

Next Saturday, April 19, the city hosts a Community Garden Clean-up. Join them and see what it’s all about. We have different plot sizes, some larger for the more experienced gardener’s and smaller plots for those just getting started in growing their own food. Come join the gardening community.
