The Susanville City Council holds a regularly scheduled meeting at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1 at the City Council Chambers, 66 N. Lassen St.
The council meets in closed session at 4:30 p.m. There is one item on the closed session agenda — public employment, the Susanville Public Safety Chief.
The public portion of the meeting begins at 5 p.m.
Items on the agenda include
Business from the Floor (public comment); approval of the Consent Calendar (minutes of the council’s March 19 meeting ad vendor and payroll warrants);
New Business (consideration of Resolution No. 26-6521 for the street closures for the Little League Opening Day Parade from 8 to 11 a.m. with an estimated cost to the city of $2,207 — $420 in police department costs, $974 in public works department costs, and $813 in fire department costs; consideration of Resolution No. 26-6522 increasing fund budgets for the airport, streets, parks and the water system improvements and operational needs; a discussion of the city’s sign regulations; consideration of Resolution No. 26-6523 requesting an allocation of $131,715 from the Lassen County Transportation Commission for local streets and roads purposes; Consideration of Resolution No. 26-6524 amending the agreement with Van Lant & Fankhanel for auditing services.
