The Susanville City Council and the Susanville Planning Commission invite the public to attend a joint study session on the Technical General Plan Update at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the City Council Chambers, 66 N. Lassen St.
According to a statement from the city of Susanville, the elements included in the Technical General Plan Update include housing; community health, safety and conservation; community character; noise; open space; and parks, recreation and childcare implementation programs.
According to the statement, at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, the Project Team will facilitate a Joint Study Session with the Planning Commission and City Council to present an overview of the project and schedule and get input and direction on their expectations for the project. The Project Team will use the opportunity to discuss housing issues and gain an understanding of the housing-related priorities and concerns of the commissioners and councilmembers.
