According to a Facebook post, the city of Susanville reports a significant number of repairs to Well 3 have been completed, and current water storage levels allow the city to lift the previous request for reduced water usage.
Residents may resume their regular irrigation watering schedules as normal.
The city will continue to closely monitor water levels and system conditions as we return to normal operations. While the current water supply situation has improved, we ask all residents and businesses to continue practicing responsible water use and avoid unnecessary water waste.
Simple steps everyone can take include • Avoid allowing water to run off onto sidewalks, streets, or other areas where it is not needed. • Be mindful of excessive irrigation and adjust watering when conditions do not require additional water. • Check for leaks and make repairs as quickly as possible to prevent unnecessary water loss.
