Caltrans District 2 has reopened the Collier Safety Roadside Rest Area located on Interstate 5 near the junction of Highway 96 in Siskiyou County. The closure was due to water distribution issues, which have currently been resolved.
Caltrans advises rest area visitors that conditions may change during the upcoming winter months which may prompt unplanned closures.
