Community Church of Susanville presents Empower at 5 p.m. Saturday

According to a Facebook post, the Justice Task Force at Community Church of Susanville (1400 Numa Road) presents Empower, a free event focusing on the areas of human trafficking, poverty and abuse from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26.

Empower means, “Speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves.”

Jenny Williamson, the CEO and founder of Courage World Wide will be the keynote speaker.

Dinner will be served and proceeds from silent auctions will benefit the Courage Triathlon at Lake Almanor.

Donations are appreciated.
