On Monday, Oct. 2, Lassen News reported COVID booster shots were available by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Lassen County Public Health Department, 1445 Paul Bunyan Road. Call (530) 251-8183 to make an appointment for a COVID booster.
That information, provided to us by the Lassen County Public Health Department, is incorrect. In an effort to clarify this information, on Wednesday, Oct. 4, a representative from the department said the COVID boosters are available only for those 18 and younger.
If you want a COVID booster, check with your local drug store to see if it can provide a booster for you.
