DA issues DUI warning

According to a New Year’s Eve Facebook post by the Lassen County District Attorney’s Office, “In 2024, we filed 132 cases for impaired driving. That’s an average of one impaired driver every 2.75 days on our Lassen County roads. The fines and penalties for DUI are steep, but none more severe than a loss of life. Driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is inherently dangerous to human life. Don’t be the reason you or someone else doesn’t make it home in 2025.”
