One never knows when a medical emergency might strike, but the Susanville Fire Department can help members of the community prepare for the unexpected.
The SFD hosts a CPR and First Aid Class from 8:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the fire house.
Participants will learn life-saving skills including adult CPR, AED use, basic first aid and emergency response basics. No prior experience is required.
This course is intended for the public, and will not meet professional rescuer requirements. Class size is limited.
The cost is $30 per student, cash or check only. Credit cards will not be accepted.
