We never know when a medical emergency might strike, but the Susanville Fire Department can help members of the community prepare for the unexpected.
The Susanville Fire Department hosts four Community CPR and First Aid classes in 2026.
The classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 28, May 30, Aug. 15 and Nov. 14
According to a flyer about the event, “Our mission is to educate and support our community members as they come to those needing CPR or First Aid.
“Cost is $30.00 per student.
“Please bring exact cash or a check. Credit cards will not be accepted.
“This course is intended for the public and will not meet professional rescuer requirements.
“If you would like to sign up or have questions, call the administrative assistant at (530) 257-5152 or email fire@cityofsusanville.org. Class sizes are limited.”
