Hadwick announces availability of Listos California grants through Cal OES

According to a statement by Assemblymember Heather Hadwick, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services is now accepting applications for the Listos California Grant Program, which funds disaster preparedness efforts for socially vulnerable, rural, and tribal communities — including those across Assembly District 1.

Available funding
Statewide grants

$2.25 million for 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving at least 10 counties statewide.

Regional grants
$1.5 million per Cal OES region (Inland, Coastal, Southern) for nonprofits serving at least two counties in a region.

Tribal grants
$500,000 for federally recognized tribes or nonprofits serving multiple tribes statewide

CERT support grants
$500,000 for a nonprofit supporting CERT programs statewide.
