Hadwick shares information on how to comment on Newsom’s redistricting plan

According to a newsletter from Assemblymember Heather Hadwick, “Sacramento politicians want to rewrite California’s congressional maps in the middle of the decade, wiping out the voter-approved process that kept them from rigging districts for themselves. This isn’t reform — it’s rigging the rules.

“Public comment is open now but will close quickly. This may be your only chance to push back before these maps are finalized. If passed, they will decide who represents our community in Washington until the next census.”
