Vaccinations play an important role in the health of our pets.

Ingram reminds South County residents about dog and cat vaccination clinic in Doyle

We all know we need to vaccinate our animals against a variety of diseases to keep them healthy.

Lassen County District 5 Supervisor Jason Ingram reminds South County residents about Saturday’s vaccination clinic for South County pets. He urged South County residents to take advantage of the opportunity so the vet will come to the South County again.

“We need to get 100 animals vaccinated, or they won’t come back,” Ingram said.

The clinic will be held Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Doyle Community Center, 434-685 Doyle Loop,

Cats only will receive vaccinations between 9 and 10 a.m. Dogs will receive vaccinations between 10 a.m. and noon.

The cost for the vaccines is $10 for a rabies shot for dogs; $22 for parvo/distemper; #20 for kennel cough; $30 for influenza; $18 for RCP (cats); and $20 leukemia.

Participants are asked to bring last year’s receipt in order to receive a 3-year rabies shot.
