Lake Almanor Area Chamber hosts 4th of July fireworks celebration

There won’t be a 4th of July fireworks show at the Lassen County Fairgrounds this year, but the Lake Almanor Chamber host one.

According to a statement from the chamber, “The community’s enthusiasm for the upcoming July 4th celebration at Lake Almanor is truly heartening. Fireworks have long been a beloved tradition for our community, and the chamber is fully committed to upholding this cherished custom.

“Due to fluctuating lake levels and unforeseen circumstances, this year’s fireworks display will be relocated adjacent to Chester Airport. Thanks to the generous support of All Phase Landscaping, this year’s fireworks show will be launched from private property after 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4th. Please note, there is no allowed access to the private property for pedestrians or vehicles.

“We are committed to providing a spectacular show for all attendees and eagerly anticipate returning to our traditional lakeside location for next year’s event. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate these adjustments to ensure a memorable experience for everyone involved.”
