“I am very grateful that President Trump’s life was spared today,” LMalfa said. “He was centimeters from being killed. The Lord looked over him today, for that we should all be grateful. The loss of life and injury of those in the crowd is heartbreaking, for families and all Americans. Knowing President Trump, he will be even stronger and undaunted after today. We saw his poise and resolute temperament to stand up and rally after just taking a gunshot to the ear.
“Media, political commentators, elected officials, and activists have been calling President Trump a ‘threat to democracy’ for years. Supposedly serious people have compared him to some of history’s worst dictators and murderers. That same media has spent hours casting this attempted assassination as anything but what it was, and that’s sickening, even laying it off as “loud noises” disrupt the rally. It’s difficult to even believe that given the level of threats towards him, that a shooter was able to scale a building within 150 meters of his speech and fire multiple rounds. A full and serious investigation needs to be launched into how this failure in security happened. Every single detail about the shooter needs to be public, now.”
