Lassen County Board of Supervisors meet tomorrow

The Lassen County Board of Supervisors hold a regularly scheduled meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10.

The meeting begins in closed session at 9 a.m. with the consideration of three items — an employee performance evaluation of the agricultural commissioner and two liability claims filed against the county.

The open session begins at 9:30 a.m. Items on the agenda include public comment; unagendized reports by board members; matters set for time certain (10 a.m., approve Title III funding ($134,417.01) for the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, reimbursement for emergency response activities on federal land); the Information/Consent Calendar (meeting minutes, Auditor/Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector Portfolio reports); correspondence; and Department Reports (establishing a director of finance position consolidating the offices of auditor, controller, tax collector and treasurer, and if established should that position be appointed by the board of supervisors; and approval of an MOU with the Management and Professional Association).

The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17.
