According to a statement from the Lassen County Office of Education, mark your calendars for the Lassen Walk for Hope – Suicide Awareness Walk from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 12 at Lassen Community College.
This community event brings people together to honor loved ones, support those who may be struggling, and raise awareness that hope, connection and compassion can make a difference.
According to the statement, “Participants of all ages are welcome to join us as we walk together in support of mental health and suicide prevention. Lunch will be provided, and additional event details will be shared as the date approaches. We hope you’ll join us in taking steps toward hope for our community.”
