Lassen Family Services invites the community to attend its Senior Information Fair held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, June 13 at the Lassen Senior Center, 1700 Sunkist Drive.
According to a statement from LFS, “June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month. The purpose of Elder Abuse Awareness Month is to shed light on the abuse and neglect that older adults and vulnerable adults face. We are hosting this event to honor the seniors in our community.
“We would love it if you could join us and mingle with our seniors. There will be approximately 18 informational booths that include, blood pressure checks, emergency medical ambulance services, funeral pre-need insurance policies, probate and estate planning, equine therapy, crafts, music, JDX mobile van, free hot dogs, cowboy beans, chips and cookies, etc.”
