It won’t be too long before the frost is on the pumpkin, and that means it’s time for Lassen Family Services to host its annual fall fundraiser.
Are you ready to be ghosted? According to a statement from LFS, “Starting Sept. 16. We will be taking orders for you to start ghosting! Make sure you get your order in early to have you chance to ghost friends, family and coworkers. We will be placing little ghosts into yards around Susanville starting Oct 1.
“The money raised from this fundraiser allows us to continue providing services to survivors of violence in our community. The ghosting is done in good spirits and is not meant to be offensive in any way. These ghosts will rest in peace on a lawn for 24 hours until they mysteriously cross over to another person’s lawn.:
