The Lassen Humane Society holds is annual general membership meeting and election at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 707 Nevada St.
According to the agenda, the election will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Members will vote on revisions to the bylaws and elect the 2025 board of directors.
Other items on the agenda include a welcome by the president and acknowledgement of members and guests; approval of the minutes of the Oct. 9 meeting; the treasurer’s report; committee reports (Animal Shelter, Lassen Animal Shelter fence project, spay/neuter subsidy program, Lassen Humane Society phone lines, Pet Finders, fundraising, DC-SNAP fundraiser, publicity, UC Davis grant information, and membership drive; new business (consideration of using low-cost neuter/spay services in Reno and consideration of an increase to the feral cat reimbursement program); and public comment.
