According to a post at lassenlibrary.org, the Lassen District Library will be closed from Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024 until approximately Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 for much needed remodeling and sewer system improvements, funded by a California State Library, Building Forward Infrastructure Grant.
During this time no in-person services will be available at the library.
Don’t forget that you can access the Libby App with your library card for free downloadable eBooks, audio books and eMagazines. Talk to our staff if you need help setting this up.
The following programs will continue at off-site locations Specifics on dates, times, and room locations will be forthcoming.
Monday and Tuesday Adult Literacy Programs will be held at Lassen High School.
Wednesday and Thursday Adult Literacy Programs will be held at Lassen Community College.
Family Literacy monthly programs will be held at Susanville United Methodist Church.
Children’s Storytime will be held at Memorial Park as weather permits, then another location will be identified.
