LassenCares announces nine active COVID-19 cases, 104 recovered

Lassen County currently has nine active community COVID-19 cases, 104 are recovered, one person is currently hospitalized for the virus and there has been one COVID-19 related death, according to LassenCares, which provides local COVID-19 information, as of the Wednesday, Oct. 14, update. An increase of two cases since the last update Saturday, Oct. 10.

According to LassenCares, there have been 636 inmate cases at correctional facilities in Lassen County. There are no active cases and 626 recovered cases at the California Correctional Center. There are no active cases and four recovered cases at High Desert State Prison. There are four active cases and two recovered case at the Federal Correctional Institution, Herlong.

There have been 9,147 total tested, with 8,991 negative tests and 41 pending tests.
