On Friday, June 6, the Lassen County Office of Education proudly hosted the 2025 Sober Graduation, an exciting, safe, and sober celebration for graduates from across the county.
Alex Yu won a Subaru Impreza donated by Wheels West at Sober Graduation.
More than 100 seniors came together at Lassen High School for a night filled with fun, including Nerf wars, laser tag, tricycle races and zombie tag. The event created a joyful, memorable space where students could celebrate their achievements with friends and supportive adults.
Thanks to the generosity of community sponsors, more than $16,000 in prizes were awarded, highlighted by the grand prize, a Subaru Impreza donated by Wheels West, won by Alex Yu.
“We are incredibly grateful to all of our sponsors, staff, and volunteers who made this night possible,” said Superintendent Patricia Gunderson. “This event is a powerful reminder of how much our community values and supports its youth.”
