In honor of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Lassen Family services will host a Senior Information Fair Day to promote awareness of abuse and connect elders (60+) with vital support and information.
The Senior Information Fair Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, June 15 at the Senior Center 1700 Sunkist Drive in Susanville.
Local businesses and agencies will be on-site to share resources pertaining to their facilities and offer services tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults in our rural community.
This event addresses the growing demands for elder support in geographic areas where services are often limited.
