LMUD holds public hearing on proposed 3-year rate plan at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow

The Lassen Municipal Utility District holds a public hearing on its proposed 3-year rate plan during a meeting held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the LMUD Board Room, 65 S. Roop St.

This is an action item up for approval by the directors.

Other items on the agenda include approval of the minutes from the Sept. 23 meeting; the financial report from the accounting and finance manager; a report from the general manager; and a report from the electric operations manager.

In addition, the directors will consider:
Resolution No. 2025-06 — establishing a policy regarding the payment of salaries, wages and demands against the district.

Rescind resolutions that are no longer relevant or necessary for district operations.

Reschedule the November board meeting to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20.

Reschedule the December board meeting to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30.

Closed session
The board will meet in closed session for a conference with legal counsel regarding existing litigation (LMUD v. William Butler, et al and a public employee performance evaluation of the general manager.
