LMUD warns customers of phone scam

According to a Facebook post by the Lassen Municipal Utility District, we have had reports of customers receiving calls from someone claiming to represent LMUD demanding immediate payment and threatening disconnection of service.

If you receive a call like this, please let us know by calling (530) 257-4174.

We will never ask you to provide payment information over the phone. If you are paying your bill by phone, only do so by calling our payment line, (530) 257-4174.
