According to Facebook posts, Lassen County and the city of Susanville offer a low-cost rabies and licensing clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, May 31 at the Lassen County Animal Shelter, 472-000 Johnstonville Road.
Dogs must be on a leash, and only cash will be accepted as payment.
Various vendors will be providing services, but according to a flyer on the event, Lassen Veterinary will provide rabies vaccinations for $12.
A rabies vaccination certificate is required to obtain a license. City licenses are $4 for altered animals and $10 for unaltered animals. County licenses are $5 for altered animals and $15 for unaltered animals.
