Main Street gas prices suddenly fall a dime

Jackson’s leads the way in Main Street’s recently launched gas price war.

At the request of District 1 Supervisor Chris Gallagher, on Tuesday the Lassen County Board of Supervisors approved sending a letter to the state asking for an investigation into the high gas prices on Main Street in Susanville.

A couple of days later — the prices fell 10 cents per gallon — 12 cents per gallon at Jackson’s. That’s great — but except for Jackson’s and the higher priced Chevron station, all the prices remain the same.

Prices at the Chevron station are still higher than the rest, but its price dropped 19 cents.
