Quincy Veterans Hall hosts Death and Taxes concert, dinner dance fundraiser Sept. 15
The West End Theater is thrilled to invite you to a night of rhythm, fun and philanthropy at our Swing Dance Fundraiser.
The Death and Taxes String Band appears in Quincy, Sunday, Sept. 15.According to a statement from the band, “Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring live music by the Death and Taxes Swing Band. Take a step back in time with the Death and Taxes Swing Band presenting the best of 1940s big band jazz at the Veteran’s Hall in Quincy on Sunday, Sept 15.
“The Death and Taxes Swing Band features a fun mix of seasoned professionals and younger rising stars from the jazz world. Led by vocalist Rebecca Roudman, the group digs into all the favorite big band swing hits, from Benny Goodman to Glenn Miller.”
This five-piece ensemble has been described as, “…pure excitement and a swingin’ good time,” by the Bay County Coastal Newspaper.
