Join the Lassen County Office of Education for Dandy’s Pool Party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at the Honey Lake Valley Community Pool.
This free, family-friendly, tobacco-free event will feature swimming, free Kona Ice, giveaways, resource booths, and plenty of summer fun for all ages.
This year’s event will also introduce the exciting Sober Grad Duck Race Fundraiser, helping raise funds to provide Lassen County seniors with a safe and memorable sober graduation celebration.
Community members can purchase a numbered rubber duck for $5 for a chance to win great prizes during the race, which begins at 7 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.
