Last weekend the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office hosted Cal OES at the Lassen County Fairgrounds for Search and Rescue Dog Team certification testing, according to a Facebook post by the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office.
Volunteers Mary, Lisa, Kathryn and Kris responded with their K-9’s though the Cal OES Mutual Aid System for Search and Rescue Missions.
Each team is trained and certified for crime scene detection.
The LCSO would also like to give a special thank you to the fairgrounds staff for their help getting everything ready for us.
