According to a release from the Susanville Police Department, the SPD was involved in 1,608 incidents during the month of May.
The department responded to 779 calls for service, 829 officer-initiated incidents, 529 business/building checks and 26 vehicle/pedestrian checks.
Officers filed 102 reports — three collision reports, 67 criminal reports and 24 information reports.
The SPD made 24 arrests — 16 adult misdemeanor arrests and 8 felony adult arrests. The department issued 54 citations — eight for misdemeanors, 38 for traffic violation and eight for parking violations.
