The Susanville Fire Department responded to an out-of-control blaze at the St. Francis Hotel on Main Street in Susanville about 3 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1.

According to a statement from the SFD on Friday, “The fire is currently under investigation, and more updates will be available later today.”
According to susanville.crimegraphics.com, the Susanville Police Department reports a felony crime of arson at 2:45 a.m. Nov. 1 on the 800 block of Main Street. However, the website does not report an arrest has been made in the incident.
