Summer of Hope Food Program serves those in need Tuesday

Local families with a child younger than 18 that are experiencing food insecurity can find some help thanks to the Summer of Hope Food Program, according to a Facebook post.

The program is a partnership between the Susanville Assembly of God church, Convoy of Hope and local schools.

Food is available from 6 to 7 p.m. (or until the food runs out) July 28 at the Susanville Garden Apartments, Meadowbrook Apartments, Riverside Park, Mill View Apartments and Memorial Park.

Families must have a child from preschool to 18 years of age to receive the food.
