Supes hold six administrative penalties hearings tomorrow

The Lassen County Board of Supervisors meets at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28 in the board chambers, 707 Nevada St.

Closed session
The board meets in closed session at 9 a.m. to discuss two items — a conference with legal counsel regarding a significant exposure to litigation (if needed); and a public employee discipline/dismissal/release. The board reconvenes in open session at 9:30 a.m.

Matters set for time certain
The board considers 10 items at times certain:
Retirement proclamation for Pete Heimbigner (10 a.m.); consideration of a letter opposing groundwater exportation from Lassen County to Washoe County until the property owner completes the permitting process (10 a.m.); consideration of an appeal regarding the storage of explosives (10:10 a.m.); an administrative-penalties hearing for Raymond R. and Kristy C.P. Solis (10:15 a.m.); an administrative-penalties hearing for Ryan H. Logsdon (10:25 a.m.); an administrative-penalties hearing for Julia and Miguel Morales (10:30 a.m.); an administrative-penalties hearing for Max M. Garcia (10:35 a.m.); an administrative-penalties hearing for Ronald Marium Janis, Jr. (10:40 a.m.); an administrative-penalties hearing for Ronald Janis (10:45 a.m.); and a proclamation regarding Susanville Rotary Club’s 100 years 9 (11 a.m.).

Boards and Commissions
The board will consider appointments to the Stones-Bengard Community Services District.

Information/Consent Calendar
Three items on the Information/Consent Calendar — a resolution revising, adopting and providing publicly available pay schedules for UPEC Local 792 and the Peace Officers Association; minutes of the April 14 board meeting; and receive and file miscellaneous correspondence.

Department Reports
County Clerk-Recorder
Waive the second reading and adopt a resolution implementing at $25 per parcel application fee.

District Attorney
The board will consider a pay raise for the Lassen County District Attorney.

Office of Emergency Services
The board will receive a report and may give direction to staff regarding an exclusive ambulance operating area in Lassen County.

County Administrative Office
The board will consider a reclassification and job description for personal assistant I/II/III.
