Supes meet Tuesday, may approve amended Colwest contract

The Lassen County Board of Supervisors holds a regularly scheduled meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, in the Board Chambers, 707 Nevada St. in Susanville.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in closed session with a conference with legal counsel (if needed), a conference with labor negotiator Scott McLeran (management and professional association), and an employee evaluation of Richard Egan, the county administrator.

The public portion of the meeting begins at 9 a.m.

Items of the agenda include public comment; the information/consent calendar ($1,000 in discretionary funds from District 5 Supervisor Jason Ingram to the Doyle Senior Center, a letter to the U.S. Forest Service regarding uncompleted projects, minutes from the Aug. 20 meeting, a $100,000 agreement between the county and Casa Serenity, LLC, a $200,000 agreement between the county and Davis Guest House, Inc. for a residential care facility for July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, a $250,000 agreement between the county and Willow Glen Care Center, a $179,000 contract between the city and Lassen Intervention, LLC); a personnel report form the county administrative officer; Department reports (Sheriff’s office, $204,392.01 purchase of 30 handheld radios for the Lassen and Plumas County). Radio Integration Project, Lassen County Administrative Officer recruitment flyer, Health and Social Services, a amended, $1.6 million agreement between the county and Colwest, an update on the Housing and Grants Community Block Grant, and a $1.5 million agreement between the county and County Medical Service Program governing board) and a report from the county administrative officer.

The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at ( a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10.
