Saturday, March 14, the Susanville Symphony Society will present its first ever concert at the new Sierra Theater for the Performing Arts, according to a statement from maestro Ben Wade.
The show begins at 7 p.m. as local musicians and rock legends will descend upon the newly built stage.
According to the statement, the Susanville Big Band will play your favorite swing band songs like “Tea for Two,” “L.O.V.E,” “The Look of Love” and many more.
Maestro Ben Wade conducts the Susanville Symphony at a previous Concert on the Green at the historic Lassen County Courthouse.
“The amount of work the SPAC has done to get the theater ready for regular shows is outstanding.,” Wade said. “We feel that this will generate a new venue for all of Lassen County and beyond. I am excited to kick things off with our big band concert.”
