The Susanville Symphony Society hosts its annual The Susanville Pops Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday May 17 at the United Methodist Church, 60 S. Lassen St.
Forget about Bach, Mozart and all those other classical music cats, because the symphony steps out onto a more recognizable and contemporary stage for the Susanville Pops Concert — this year featuring the music of Disney.
“This year it’s going to be a Disney theme,” said Artistic Director and Conductor Ben Wade, “from Star Wars to Frozen and much, much more.”
Tickets are available at the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce and Margie’s Book Nook.
And Wade said the kick off for the next season begins today.
