According to a vote by the American people, former president Donald Trump will return to the White House in January. Not only did he win a majority in the Electoral College, he also apparently won the popular vote. An impressive comeback victory, for sure.
While our nation is nearly equally divided into two camps, we have made our decision. Now is the time for all of us to put that division behind us and embrace the collective determination we have made. We, the American people, have spoken. The election is over. Now is the time for each and every one of us to fully embrace the reality of this moment and move forward together into the future.
I take this opportunity to congratulate Trump on his historic victory. He is not “their” president, he is our president.
