Thursday’s 1-2 Fire threatened structures, burned nearly two acres

According to Watch Duty.org, the 1-2 Fire began about 9:42 p.m. Thursday, June 18 as a 1/4 acre vegetation fire with a moderate rate of spread.

At 9:53 p.m. Watch Duty reported, the fire is still burning at a moderate rate of spread and there are two or three structures threatened.

At 10:22 p.m. Watch Duty reported the fire’s forward progression had been stopped at one to two acres.

At 10:45 p.m. Watch Duty reported the fire’s size has been updated to 1.75 acres.

At 12:09 a.m. Friday, June 19, Watch Duty reported the National Interagency Fire Center declared the fire was 100 percent contained.

At 4:14 a.m. This incident is now being deactivated from the Watch Duty map. This will be the final update unless conditions change.
