Tintabulations presents ‘Bein’ Green’ at Susanville’s Methodist Church Sunday, June 8
Tintabulations, Reno’s acclaimed community handbell ensemble, announces its Summer 2025 concert series: Bein’ Green.

The group performs at the United Methodist Church in Susanville at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8. The concert free,, but donations are accepted.
Inspired by the beloved song performed by Kermit the Frog, this season’s program explores themes of self-acceptance, growth and the beauty of embracing one’s uniqueness.
Led by Artistic Director Barb Walsh, Tintabulations’ talented team of eight musicians will weave mesmerizing melodies on glistening bronze bells and shimmering chimes.

The program will feature thoughtful narrations inspired by Kermit’s journey — from feelings of doubt to a heartfelt embrace of what makes us special. Narrations will include humorous anecdotes about Tintab’s own “green” moments, reflections on environmental stewardship and heartfelt tales of resilience and self-discovery.
Audiences can expect moments of laughter, reflection and inspiration as these engaging stories connect each musical piece.
This year’s repertoire features an eclectic mix of musical styles, including rock, ragtime, jazz, folk, pop and classical. In addition to the vibrant handbell sounds, performances will showcase the rich timbres of bassoon, cello, violin, and flute, adding dynamic layers to the concert’s unique soundscape.
Prepare to be enchanted as Tintabulations’ energetic and engaging performance combines dazzling musical precision with visually captivating choreography.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the world of handbells, Bein’ Green promises an unforgettable journey through sound, color and emotion.
All performances are free of charge; donations are cheerfully accepted to support the ensemble’s mission of promoting handbell artistry and music education.
