Local motorcycle enthusiasts have started a motorcycle group for interested participants.
According to Blake Hutchinson, the Desert Ratz MC Club is headquartered on Highway 395 in Herlong, Calif., close to great rides in the Northern California mountains.
Hutchinson said any and all motorcyclists — male, female, young and old — are welcome. Nor is the club centered on one make or brand. All are welcome no matter whether you ride a Harley Davidson, Yamaha, Honda, Kawaski, Ducati or a BMW, Blake said.
The club is about having fun, Hutchinson said. He added drinking alcohol and driving is forbidden.
A Web site is being developed to let interested people know about rides. Rides and events will be available soon at ias.cc/DesertRatz.
