ICUA Youth Rally and Scholarship
The ICUA Youth Rally is a week-long leadership camp and scholarship program held at the College of Idaho. The Rally is for local sophomores and juniors from all over the Intermountain West to learn about consumer-owned utilities, teamwork, and leadership. There are fun camp activities throughout the week, along with a trip to the Idaho Capitol Building and the Idaho Waterpark.
The teens are also evaluated throughout the week on class engagement, participation, teamwork, leadership and overcoming obstacles. At the end of the week, evaluated scores are used to award additional scholarship money.
Sophomores and juniors
Scholarships available for sophomores and juniors include a free summer camp the week of July 6-10, 2026, a $500 scholarship check and the opportunity to earn additional scholarship money at the camp.
The summer camp (for sophomores and juniors) application includes the essay prompt — “Consumer-owned utilities: Why having a diverse power portfolio is important to utilities.”
