Notice of Public Hearing – Lassen County Planning Commission – PSREC

The Lassen County Planning Commission solicits the aid of public agencies and the general public in consideration of the following item:

Applicant: Plumas Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC)

File:Use Permit #2025-005

Project:            Proposal for a non-public utility line for transmission of electricity through four private parcels necessitating right of way acquisition. The project site is zoned A-1 (General Agricultural District) and is designated “Extensive Agriculture” per the Lassen County General Plan, 2000.  The project is exempt from CEQA under Section 15061(b)(3) of the Guidelines.  

Location: The proposed site is located near the intersection of Cal-Neva Rd. and Fort Sage Rd., approximately 11 miles from Herlong, CA 

Zoning: The project site is zoned A-1 (General Agricultural District) and is designated “Extensive Agriculture” per the Lassen County General Plan, 2000
