Robert C. Bare passed away suddenly on January 19, 2022. He was born in Helena, Montana, March 4, 1950, to George and Janice Bare. He graduated from St. Regis High School in 1968. Shortly after graduation he enlisted into the U.S. Navy, during which time he met his wife Kathleen while stationed in Boston. They were married in 1972 and were blessed with 2 sons, Bo and Kyle.
After his military service, he was hired by CalFire where he spent 35 years with the fire department and retired as a fire captain. After retiring from CalFire he spent another 6 years with the Bureau of Land Management as a fire dispatcher.
He was preceded in death by both his parents and 2 brothers, Tim and Toby. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Kathleen; his 2 sons, Bo and Kyle, 1 grandson Tyler, and his sister, Candy MacDonald of Helena Montana.
