NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – LASSEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

The Lassen County Planning Commission solicits the aid of public agencies and the general public in consideration of the following item:

Applicant: T-Mobile West LLC

File:Use Permit #2025-002

Project:            Proposal to place a new personal wireless service facility onto an existing 100 ft, 10 in water tower to enhance network coverage and capacity in the designated service area. The facility will consist of 6 panel antennas, 6 Remote Radio Units (RRU’s), and 2 hybrid cables mounted at 77 ft, 6 in of the water tower. They will also install 2 radio cabinets on a new 10 ft x 15 ft concrete pad located on the ground on the south side of the tower, and 1 utility H-Frame to mount its electrical and telco switch gear. Fiber will be run underground from Park Street approximately 43 ft, 3 in to the proposed H-Frame. Power will run underground from Market Street approximately 159 ft to the proposed H-Frame. The project is exempt from CEQA under Section 15301 of the Guidelines.

Location: The proposed site is located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of Park St and Market St in Bieber, CA.

Zoning: Project site is zoned C-T (Town Service District) and is designated “Town Center” per the Lassen County General Plan, 2000.
