Notice of Public Hearing – Lassen County Planning Commission

The Lassen County Planning Commission solicits the aid of public agencies and the general public in consideration of the following item:

Applicant: Connolly

File: Use Permit #2025-007

Project: Proposal to construct a storage building and bay utilizing 4 shipping containers on a 2.4-acre parcel. The shipping containers will be attached to the main bay and will be used to store an airplane fuselage and supporting equipment. The project site has an abandoned mobile home, which will be removed from the property. 

Location: The proposed site does not have an assigned address. The subject parcel fronts Hwy 299 and Bieber Dump Road.

Zoning: Project site is zoned C-T (Town Service District) and has a land use designation of “Town Center” per the Lassen County General Plan, 2000.
