Notice of Public Hearing: Woodcrest Real Estate Ventures



The Lassen Board of Supervisors solicits the aid of public agencies and the general public in consideration of the following item:

Project:            Rehear the appeal filed by Jagpreet Singh of the Planning Commission’s approval of use permit #2019-011, as directed by the Board of Supervisors on November 5, 2020. Said approval conditionally permitted construction of a 9,100-square-foot retail store off Old Highway Road near Doyle.

Location:            The project site is located approximately one mile north of the Town of Doyle at 436-400 and 436-410 Old Highway Road (also known as Carol Drive).

Zoning:            The subject parcels are zoned A-1 (General Agricultural District) and have “Extensive Agriculture” and “Scenic Corridor” land use designations in the Lassen County General Plan, 2000.

As the appeal body for the Planning Commission, the Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on this item at 9:30 am on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, Jensen Hall, 195 Russell Ave, Susanville, CA. All interested persons and agencies are invited to attend the meeting and be heard, or to submit comments to the Board of Supervisors prior to the hearing, c/o the Department of Planning and Building Services, 707 Nevada Street, Suite 5, Susanville, California 96130. If you challenge the actions of the Board of Supervisors in court, you may be limited to raising only those items you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Board of Supervisors at, or prior to, the public hearing.
